Griswold round skillet #737 and a 7 mark

Is this a Griswold without Erie? I have had it for quite some time and do not know what I paid for it. It is nice and flat and is a good user.

 • I don't collect waffle irons; they just show up.

It's Griswold, yes.  It's a round handle griddle, though, not a skillet.  It looks to me like you have a pretty early style handle on this, but there are some out there that look this way.  The larger teardrop-shaped hole in the handle is more common.

I'm guessing it probably dates to something like 1912-1918 or so, but I'm making that guess without running up for the guidebook, so I could be wrong on that.

Thank you Adam for pointing out what is so obvious. I kept looking and looking at that 'skillet'. I couldn't figure out what kind it was so I jumped ahead to what somebody else had to say about it.  :-/ ;D

Thank you Adam. This one stays in the camper. Nice low profile for easy storage.
