Hello Laurie. Welcome to WAGS. Thank you for stopping in. That is a nice piece. However in my opinion it is not rare. I'd say it's worth around a hundred and fifty dollars. There are several variations. The ones with the most markings are worth the most. Some are lettered on the lid and some have no lettering on the lid. If you can post a picture of your piece that would help as well. Hope that helps. :)
