Hello Dale. Is it cast iron or aluminum? Its probably aluminum but it looks like its cast iron.

It is japanned(it appears), or tinned cast iron. It isn't aluminum.

In the aluminum section of the pattern numbers for Wagner pieces in the BB of Smith and Wafford, there is a number 364 and there is a number 366, but there is no number 365. Which means that the author did not know what the number 365 went on at the time the book was written. But if you say it is not aluminum it does not fit. Unless somebody made a cast iron piece using the pattern that was used to make an aluminum piece. At any rate, it would be very coincedental if this piece does not fit as I am saying. So Dale it appears that you may have found a missing link here.  :-/

Doesn't it resemble the Griswold #367 lemon juicer in the BB? I am not a blacksmith, but it has some heft to it. It is 9 1/2 in. if that may help. I appreciate all the info.

Try a magnet on it. If it sticks its cast iron. If it does NOT stick its aluminum. That'll help some.

The form is like one of the Classic lemon squeezers by Griswold and the script PN looks like something Griswold would do. I don't know for sure but I would lean towards it being Griswold. For those of you who have Perry's Catalog No. 40, look at the picture of the Boss pattern squeezer at the top of page 78. The catalog shows it as being 9" long for the small version. Both sizes were iron with 100% tin.
