Favorite Piqua #3 and Wagner chef skillet value?
« on: February 25, 2014, 02:59:37 PM »
Came across these today and wonder what they are worth.
I didn't buy them, but may go back.
The Piqua is the one with a slight heat ring for $12.50, and the Wagner was either a #7 or 6, and was $30.

Did the Favorite have a "smiley" logo?

And what were the markings on the WAGNER?? There are different ones AND different handle styles also.

If it is a smiley, I would have bought it on the spot. The non-smileys, at least around here, have been selling for less than that one.
Do you have the Blue Book? If you are going to be buying cast iron, start with some reference books. They may cost money, but they can save you much more.
