Wagner Sidney O #3 Scotch Bowl
« on: January 20, 2014, 11:44:17 PM »
First time my dad and I have ever seen one in our area. It's in pretty good shape. Thought it was pretty unique.

I've ordered the "blue book" but haven't gotten it in yet and can't find much on ebay etc!

Any $ opinions?
Thanks! Sincerely,

The Newb :)

They do show that one in the Red Book @ $ 35-45. Not sure what they are bringing now.

Awesome thanks Jim. Guess I got it pretty reasonable then considering the shape it's in. I've mainly concentrated on skillets thus far. Getting good at identifying with what resources I have at the moment. But no clue on values. Ready for my book to get in :). Thanks sir.

Just checked over on Ebay, and I'd say the median price is running about $30-$35.... and then there is shipping.............

You're welcome, Bret. You had the right idea by checking e-bay. They seem to set the prices anymore, and sometimes the reference books are off. We recommend the Blue Book, The Red Book, and the Haussler books to start with. Good luck in your future "finds".

Awesome thanks Cheryl and Jim!! I'm in the money then. I'm happy lol. It'll bring a lot more where I'm from. Seems everything is crazy high there from what I've noticed.

I also picked up this clean stylized Martin today. Might not be worth much but I liked it and not much elbow grease needed :) lol

Also wanted to mention, if you want to see really good information on old Griswold, check out the 1895-96 reprint catalog, and the General Catalog 40 catalog. Shows a whole lot of good 'ol Gris. The more references , the better the "finds"  ;)
