Gate mark skillet with "WAGNER" logo
« on: September 04, 2021, 11:30:10 AM »
I've had this skillet for many years and haven't found any information on it.  Seems Wagner started in1891 and gate mark skillets were becoming a thing if the past by then, so not sure why their logo would be on a #8 gate mark skillet? Could this be a recast from someone?

Hello Thomas,

That is a recast for Certain.

Made using a real Wagner skillet as a pattern.

Thanks Cheryl, when I saw that the "WAGNER" was shallow and distorted I figured so. Time to cook some bacon in it 😎
