Visited Old Security yesterday and ran across this jewel in the rough.  Rings like a bell and needs cleaning and re-seasoning, but it was only $22, so I had to go for it.

What a beauty!

That's the best $22 you'll ever spend!  You can't beat those old Erie's.  They were some of the best ever made IMO.

My opinion exactly.  Other than an oval griddle I picked up in 06, this is my first Erie.  Has a faint 8 or B next to the 10 and upon closer scrutiny an almost nonexistent depression in the middle, but the heat ring should keep it from spinning. My brand new best go to 12 inch skillet once I restore it to it's original finish. I really prefer the older pieces of CI. :)
