Posting times versus actual times.

Silly question ...why are the posting times different than the actual time...It is currently as I type this comment 9:44am yet I just read a different comment that was posted at 9:50am today...just curious but how does this happen...I checked my User CP and it shows that I was last online at 10:45 am today and yet it is not 10:45am yet.

I thought I was in the state of NJ but I am now in the state of confusion :-/

Sounds like you're "living in the past"... ;D

There's a place to adjust the time zone. If you get into your profile and find "edit" and "options", you'll find this area -

Time Offset:
If the time displayed here differs from your local time, then adjust it by changing the settings.

Then just experiment a bit until you get the right time.

You are all set now. I checked your PROFILE and your time offset was ahead 4 hours.  If you are in NJ, you should be ok now.  ALso look at the top of this page and the time up there in the left corner should match your current time. ;) ;)
