How much is my item worth? / Trying to identify my griswold pan...
« Last post by Shelley Mogck on September 27, 2021, 01:38:17 AM »
I just inherited a griswold pan but it isn't a skillet.  It has a slanted griswold in center. And  Erie 811A... and 8 cast in bottom of pan. There's a ring on one side I'm not sure what that is...

Patrick
I'm having a hard time reading the writing on the bottom on the DO and there's no top view of the lid. Just going by the slant logo I'd venture a guess of 1910-1920's.

WANTED: Items you want for your collection / Re: Need: C/I Cookie Sheet...

Duke,
Lodge has two new pieces in their recently released baking line of iron.
Both pieces are $42.95. Right now on their website, shipping is free for orders over $59.
The rectangular pan should be great for cookies. I demonstrated baking Focaccia in one when I was there last. It is a nice pan that I use at home too. This new baking series is quite light when compared to other cast iron. The two pans listed below both have about the same baking surface area. It depends on whether you prefer a round or rectangular pan. The rectangular pan weighs less in this case. It weighs about 7 1/2 pounds. The round pizza pan weighs just under 10 pounds. Depending on how many cookies your friend needs to bake, she may need to pans.
